Tapetile® Protection Rolls
Tapetile® is designed to offer a significant upgrade in the level of protection for buried utilities compared to traditional warning tapes. Offering peace of mind to asset owners and contractors, Tapetile® is a more robust and durable solution for protecting buried cables and pipes.
Tapetile® provides a durable safeguard for power cables, fibre optic cables and gas pipes, with a proven record of reducing strikes.
When used in conjunction with Stokbord® Cable Cover, it enhances protection significantly, making it suitable for protecting high voltage transmission lines below ground. Both Tapetile® and Stokbord® Cable Covers are specified by National Grid under TS.03.05.07.
Tapetile® is supplied as a roll. This offers easy installation as it can be unrolled directly into the trench above the buried utility. Unlike conventional warning tape, Tapetile® does not twist or turn during installation and remains securely in place once installed.
Tapetile® is made from 100% recycled polyethylene plastic, which is then laminated with brightly coloured film and customised text to offer a visual warning helping prevent accidents during excavation. The colour and text can be tailored to meet your specifications.
