Locata® Detectable Warning Mesh

Locata® Detectable Warning Mesh is a brightly coloured visual warning device installed underground to alert people when digging a potential high voltage cable or pipeline below.

It is manufactured in different lengths, widths, and colours to meet customer needs and fully complies to EN12613 (2021) specification.

Locata® Detectable Warning Mesh is traceable by means of a corrosion resistant stainless-steel wire(s), that are laminated between the middle band of mesh and the printed top tape.

The purpose of the wire is to aid in the detection from above ground of a buried utility.

Detection from above ground is possible using CAT & Genny system (Cable Avoidance Tools and Generator).

Locata® Detectable Warning Mesh does not offer any mechanical protection against a utility strike.

This product is available in widths ranging from 100 mm to 700 mm.
