LDPE (low density polyethylene or polythene) is widely used by manufacturning and distribution companies for pallet wrap, packaging film and general purpose films.

Sourcing waste plastic

Centriforce Products purchases large quantities of polythene film for use in its own processes to make 'second-use' products for a wide range of applications, both here in the UK and internationally.

We're always interested in talking to manufacturing or distribution companies who have regular quantities of waste polyethylene film and are looking for a UK-based, sustainable solution for their waste products.

If you are a commercial business which has regular (or even intermittent) quantities of waste film available, then please contact us on the number above or send us an enquiry if out of hours.

Films usually needs to be bulked up to minimise the cost of transport so we normally will take film in bales, but we can also take film which has been either partially or fully processed into agglomerate or even pelletised. We can arrange for transport and can also advise on how best to obtain maximum value form any material, just contact us for more information.

Grades of LDPE film* which we purchase include:

  • 99 / 1
  • 98 / 2
  • 95 / 5
  • 90 / 10
  • LDPE jazz (mixed coloured films)
  • Washed LDPE films

* Ideally film should be baled and from a commercial or industrial source. We're sorry, but we're unlikely to be able to use material from domestic sources or anything which has had contact with food or clinical waste.

Centriforce Products does not trade waste plastics, we simply purchase material which we can use within our own facilities. Our processes are therefore highly sustainable and very efficient in energy, water, emissions and other resources used.

Please contact us for more information. Phone numbers and email addresses can be found at the top of this webpage.
