Pagham Harbour

Location: West Sussex

Pagham Harbour is an internationally important site for wildlife and is home to plant and animal habitats of global rarity. The Reserve covers 1500 acres, about half of which is saltmarsh and mudflats, while the rest comprises farmland, copses, lagoons, reedbeds and shingle beaches.

Working with West Sussex County Council, Centriforce Products Ltd has supplied a boardwalk, manufactured from recycled material, providing access across the vegetated shingle to the crest of Pagham Spit beach. Visitors can now enjoy the flowering shingle plants and the views from the beach out to sea.
