Location: Fowlmere, Royston
Fowlmere is a RSPB nature reserve in Cambridgeshire. It covers 86 acres and is designated as a site of Special Scientific Interest. Fowlmere's reedbeds and pools are fed by natural chalk springs and a chalk stream runs through the reserve.

A boardwalk installation at Fowlmere Nature Reserve in conjunction with the RSPB
Working with the RSPB, Centriforce constructed a 200m boardwalk from recycled plastic. The recycled plastic boardwalk is not only environmentally friendly, but is also rot and algae proof, requiring little or no maintenance. The unique roughened surface provides a safe slip resistant decking that can be accessed all year round regardless of the weather.
