The demand for a sustainable product to protect underground electricity, gas and communications cables in the Middle East is already proving fruitful for leading UK recycled plastics manufacturer, Centriforce Products.
As the Company completes final preparations for one of the region's major exhibitions, Middle East Electricity 2009 (February 8-10, Dubai International Exhibition Centre) it is confident that it can build on the success that was achieved at the same event last year.
Showing its market leading range of Stokbord ® cable covers and Centritile® warning tape, Centriforce was able to demonstrate why they are today's safest, most cost effective and proven system for the protection of underground cables.
The result, according to Centriforce Export Manager, Geoff Cornish, was one of the busiest and most successful exhibitions that the company has every taken part in.
"We were able to make face to face contact with contractors, power and gas companies, distributors and prospective agents from the Middle East, Africa and Korea, which have proved useful over the past year. As a direct result, we have won orders in excess of £500,000 and gained some promising tenders.
"The exhibition proved to us that the Middle East is an attractive market for our products, and has given us the incentive to expand our activities in the region. This year's event will help us to consolidate our reputation as a leading player in the region, renew and expand these contacts, and grow our business further."
Centriforce Products will be on the BEAMA area of the Great Britain Pavillion (Stand 2G22) at Middle East Electricity 2009 www.middleeastelectricity.com
