River Colne boardwalk still looking good 12 Years On.

UK Sales Manager Jonathan Pearce revisited one of our early boardwalk installations on the River Colne in Huddersfield.
The boardwalk was installed for Kirklees Council in early 1998, and 12 years on still looks good as new.
"Given the fact this boardwalk has been in constant use for over 12 years, has been the subject of several cases of flooding from the River Colne and has had no maintenance, it was very pleasing to see what great condition the boardwalk is still in.
This demonstrates the long term durability of our recycled plastic planks and shows exactly why they are better than traditional timber in this application.
Kirklees council's decision has been fully vindicated. By now a timber boardwalk would almost certainly have needed replacing," comments Jonathan.
Centriforce Products Ltd are the market leader in recycled plastic boardwalks and walkways, working with leading organisations in the land management sector, such as The National Trust, The Wildlife Trust, Natural England and the Environment Agency.
