Boardwalk at Bidston Moss

Plastic bottles collected are collected from throughout the area, and taken to the MRF at Bidston to be seperated from other dry recyclables. Baled mixed bottles are then sold by the MRF to one of the large UK Plastic sorting Operations.

Centriforce purchase baled sorted HDPE bottles, and reprocess these into our recycled post and plank product range. Specific planks are then used in the manufacture of a range of outdoor products, including boardwalks.

A major boardwalk was installed at Bidston Moss, and is used by the same community which generated the waste bottles originally.
